[01] Agent-First

Start with proof. Run a pilot. Settle into Operator.

Everything begins with a free proof of concept. We build and deploy your agent so you can observe it completing work in your environment. From there, you have the option to run a 45-day pilot. If the agent performs, simply roll into Operator and start automating more work.

How to pick the use case for a pilot

Point to where it hurts.

You don't need to diagram every process across the org. Pick a recurring set of tasks that keep getting done manually, slowly, inconsistently, or not at all.

The buying path

01

We scope the workflow

Together, we define the trigger, tools, rules, owners, review gates, and success criteria.

02

We build, test, and deploy on our dime

You observe agent capabilities in your environment. Not a pre-configured sandbox.

03

Run a pilot (or not)

If you need more time before committing, take up to 45 days to observe your agent over more operating cycles.

04

Decision

You've now seen agentic AI up close. If your agent completed its assigned work and met your expectations, simply roll into Operator. If it didn't, we'll part ways as friends.

Frequently asked, honestly answered.

How is my data handled and where does it live?

Your core systems stay where they are. Your CRM, inbox, calendar, and project tools never move. Agents reach into those systems through credentials you control and can revoke at any time. The workflow logic, the agent runtime, and the orchestration layer run inside a secure, hosted environment with encryption in transit and at rest, and full audit logging on every run. Your data is not used to train models, ours or anyone else's. You retain ownership of both your data and the outputs generated by the agent system.

For AI agents, why do you only show starting prices?

Because every customer workflow is different and the starting price is the honest floor for each tier. We'll be able to give you a set quote after we scope four things: workflow complexity and decision rules, run volume and model usage, the number and condition of your tool integrations, and your data readiness.

Why is there a large price difference between 'Single Agent' and 'Operator'?

Because Single Agent is a 45-day pilot. Operator, Growth, and Command are Managed AI Ops service tiers. We offer a pilot so you can observe the agent over longer ops cycles. For most customers, the process looks like this: (1) Proof of concept. A custom agent deploys into your environment, free of charge, and performs successfully. (2) Observe the agent over a 45-day pilot. (3) Roll into Operator as the entry point for Managed AI Ops.

Is there a Proof of Concept or Pilot program for GEO-first customers?

GEO-first engagements do not require a separate proof of concept or pilot. GEO is delivered as a managed service, which means we can begin implementation directly once you subscribe. Agent systems are different. Because agents introduce new workflows, automation logic, and operational behavior, they often benefit from a more explicit pilot or proof phase. If you want to begin your Managed AI Ops program with GEO first, you can subscribe and kick off the engagement immediately. There are no long-term lockups or pre-commitments, and you can pause, switch, or cancel at any time.

What does "Output Capacity: 1 FTE" mean? Are you replacing my people?

No. It means the work output of the agent systems in Operator is roughly equivalent to what a full-time employee would produce on the same set of repeatable tasks. The point is leverage, not headcount cuts. You still need humans for the judgment calls, the relationships, and the exceptions. The agents handle the volume so your people can focus on higher-order tasks.

How do I know which tier to land in?

Most businesses land in Operator. It is the recommended commercial center of gravity: two to three agent systems running in production, AI Visibility Foundation included, the work output of about one FTE. Growth makes sense once you have multiple business functions that need to coordinate through one AI layer. Command is for businesses that have decided to go all-in on AI and want a managed operator running it alongside them. If you are not sure, that is what the consult is for.

Do I pay anything before I see the agent working in my environment?

No. After we scope a workflow, Marshal builds, tests, and deploys the agent inside your environment on our dime. You get to observe it executing your work in real time. This proof step exists so you can evaluate agentic AI the way it should be evaluated: by watching it perform, not by reading a deck.

What is the difference between the free Proof of Concept and the 45-day paid pilot?

The proof step is the initial deployment. We construct the agent, set it up in your environment, and run it through enough cycles to demonstrate it can do the job. You observe, free of charge. The 45-day paid pilot is the next step if you want to extend that runtime. It's simply a way for your team to build confidence over more cycles. At the end of 45 days, you either roll into Operator (or one of the higher tiers) or you walk. There is no obligation in either direction.

What happens if the pilot does not deliver?

You walk. No subscription. No "but you owe us for the build" conversation. We carry the build cost because we are confident in what we ship, and we accept the consequences when we are wrong.

Should I start with Agent-First or GEO-First?

Agent-First if the bottleneck is internal: too much manual work, slow follow-up, dropped handoffs, admin tax eating your team. You will feel the result in weeks. GEO-First if the bottleneck is external: buyers cannot find you, are not naming you, or are choosing competitors when they ask answer engines for recommendations. You will see early movement in roughly 5-8 weeks, with greater compounding from there. If both are broken, start with whichever is bleeding the most revenue right now. The other one is included once you are in Operator, Growth, or Command anyway.

Can I buy AI Visibility (GEO) without buying agents?

For the most part, no. AI Visibility is linked to AI Agent Systems and bundled into Operator, Growth, and Command because visibility and operations compound together. The GEO-First path is the same set of programs, just sequenced from the GEO side. If you have a specific reason GEO has to be unbundled, raise it on the consult and we will tell you whether we can support it.

Can I buy agents without buying GEO?

Not really. Once you move into Operator and above, GEO comes with the package because at that operating depth, visibility and execution start reinforcing each other and pulling them apart leaves money on the table.

Can I move between tiers?

Yes. The ladder is designed to be climbed. Most clients enter at Operator, then move up as more workflows earn their way in. Moving down is also possible if the scope of work changes.

What counts as one "agent system"?

A workflow-level agent that handles a complete operational outcome, not a single task. It combines an AI agent, automation logic, integrations, rules, logging, and human review where judgment is required. Example: a Lead Capture System that takes an inbound form, qualifies it, drafts a first-touch, routes it to the right owner, logs the CRM, and notifies Slack. That would be one agent system, even though it spans five tools and seven steps.

What if my workflow changes after launch?

Workflows always change. Each system is built in modular pieces so individual steps can be swapped, expanded, or retired without rebuilding the whole thing. Post-launch optimization is included in the managed service, and changes are scoped as small follow-on work rather than full new builds.

Is there an annual commitment?

No. There's no annual commitment across any Managed AI Ops tier.

Will Marshal agents work on the tools we already use?

Yes. We build on the tools you already own. Standard integrations cover the common revenue, communication, and operations platforms (HubSpot, Gmail, Slack, Calendar, Notion, Salesforce, Apollo, Linear, Stripe, Intercom, Airtable, and the usual suspects). Advanced integrations covering deeper API work, custom middleware, or legacy systems are scoped. No rip and replace, no forced migration.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. We bill monthly and deliver services over recurring 3-month sprints. You are free to cancel at any time and we'll pause your account at the end of the current period.
